52V Battery Options for 52V E-Bike Conversion Kits
Varstrom offers a range of HL, Rear Rack, SF Lithium batteries for e-bike or e-bike conversion system. Covers the most commonly used voltage ranges, including 36V, 48V, and 52V eBike conversion systems, best suited for Varstrom’s conversion kits and they are also compatible with other DIY e-bike conversion kits (*needs to confirm the BMS Spec.).

*Mileage Calculation
We offer a series capacity for 52V batteries and listed the cells relates to the battery for your reference. To help the customer choose the battery for their mileage requirement, Varstrom provides an evaluation formula for the mileage calculation.
*Related speed is a specification of the motor (you can find it in the page of conversion kits on Product Core Data).
- Throttle Mode: Voltage*capacity/motor power*related speed (km)
- Pas Mode: 2*Voltage*capacity/motor power*related speed (km)
Example: To evaluate the mileage for 52V 20.0Ah 1040Wh YW(368*95*125mm)(SAMSUNG INR21700-50E 5000mAh) + 52V 1000W M615
- Throttle Mode: 52*20/1000*50≈50 (km)

Battery Management System
Varstrom Battery Management System (BMS) is customized for all Varstrom e-bike conversion kits.
- The maximum continuous discharge current for the BMS is 30A
- The over current protection current for the BMS is 90A
30A discharge current above to all controllers' limit current Varstrom used on the conversion kits. So, all the battery from Varstrom with the same voltage to Varstrom's kits will be the best combination. You can also use you own batteries, just make sure the discharge current below 30A.

More Details for the Battery Case
There are more details on the battery such as Voltage Indicator Board (Shows the voltage range for the batter, not the percentage capacity for the battery). XT60 Socket Connector, Charging Port, Switching Button, Locking Keys, USB or Type-C port, etc. You can refer to the option image for the details of the related battery.
Including Battery Charger
There is a charger included in the battery package. Varstrom offers the following chargers for our batteries.
- 36V Battery: 42V 2A (DC 2.1), 42V 3A (XLR), 42V 4A (XLR)
- 48V Batteries: 54.6V 2A (XLR), 54.6V 3A (XLR), 54.6V 4A (XLR)
- 52V Batteries: 58.8V 3A (DC 2.1), 58.8V 4A (XLR)

The charger is not an option, it is confirmed and packed in the battery package. Varstrom provides an evaluation formula for the charging time.
- Charging Time: Battery Capacity/Charger Current+2 (h)
Example: To evaluate the charging time for 52V 20.0Ah 1040Wh YW (368*95*125mm) (SAMSUNG INR21700-50E 5000mAh) with the 58.8V 3A (DC 2.1) charger.
- Charging Time: 20/3+2≈9 (h)
